‘€6.8 billion in projects already scheduled for 2014 in the Construction sector ’

CIS ‘Construction information services’ launching a special report showing the largest, active and ready to go projects for 2014 to the Value of €6.8 billion in Ireland both North and South. The report shows that the construction sector continues to bounce back and show space to grow even more.

Construction Information Services Ireland launched a fully comprehensive report detailing construction projects available to contractors and subcontractors for the coming year in both Rep of Ireland and Northern Ireland.

Managing Director Tom Moloney said “This reports show over €6.8 billion in projects featured in all regions in Ireland and over 400 key and major projects at advanced stages”

The report shows 8 key sectors covered in the report €743m in Industrial, €604 in Commercial & retail to €104 billion in Medical area to give you example.

“€515m in residential which is great news with the new figures from the Central Statistics Office showing that residential property prices, at a national level, increased by 6.1% in the year to October” said Tom Moloney Managing Director CIS.

“The latest results of the Ulster Bank Construction PMI provide further evidence that a recovery dynamic is beginning to take hold in the Irish construction sector. Overall activity increased for the second consecutive month in October, with the pace of expansion reaching its fastest since January 2006.” – Simon Barry, Chief Economist Republic of Ireland, Ulster Bank
